Mary Alice Franklin is a creative media professional from New York City with a strong focus on arts & culture.

She is currently Editor of Westchester County, NY’s arts and culture newspaper, ArtsNews. The paper is published by ArtsWestchester, a nationally recognized private arts council – the largest of its kind in New York State. During her tenure, the paper has doubled in readership, increased in average issue length, expanded its distribution and revamped its visual design.

Mary Alice has contributed to publications such as Paste Magazine, Huffington Post, Skinnygirl Daily, Art Zealous, Art Times and more.  

She also works as a freelance content creator, helping companies and individuals to assert their brand message through blog posts and social media. 

In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography, exploring galleries, yoga, binge-watching Netflix and people-watching from coffee shops.
